What orthodontic treatments are available?
Braces can gently and gradually move your teeth into perfect alignment, creating the smile you always wanted and helping you achieve confidence in any social situation.
All types of orthodontic braces are available at Nenagh Dental & Orthodontic Clinic.
Conventional braces or train tracks are braces which are cemented to the front of your teeth. They consist of brackets, which can be ceramic or metal which are connected with a metal wire. The wire is adjusted or changed at your appointments. The completely invisible, lingual braces are also offered. These are like the conventional braces but are cemented to the back our your teeth.
If you do not like the look of the metal braces, Dr Romana recommends the use of Invisalign, which is a more aesthetic treatment than what’s offered by conventional braces. Clear plastic aligners will gently move teeth in very small increments. What’s more, these are removable so it’s easy for you to brush and floss your teeth regularly while using Invisalign. This is a perfect choice for today’s image-conscious teenagers or for adults.
